Ways to Handle Any Situation
Always be prepared to face any situation. A situation can be defined as anything that demands our attention. This could be a conversation with a loved one, which requires the application of divine virtues.
Applying divine virtues means letting go of your ego. Solutions are often nearby. When those around you have developed their own positive traits, you can see your true self more clearly. The effort you put into your character and values (sanskars) becomes evident, especially when others are in a state of deep reflection. In such moments, it is essential to visualise divine souls in everyone.
It’s important to communicate with love and offer blessings to others. We should be mindful not to let our thoughts go to waste, as wasteful thoughts can make us feel uneasy. Our behaviour should reflect a desire to serve others through our thoughts, words, and actions.
When initiating a project with someone—like going for a walk—it’s helpful to use inclusive and inviting language. People appreciate having choices, as it prevents them from feeling pressured to provide an immediate answer. This thoughtful approach fosters better communication and collaboration.
To avoid wasteful thinking, such as generating harmful thoughts that could trouble ourselves or others, it is important to focus completely on our thoughts. By doing so, we can achieve positive results with minimal effort. Our thoughts are forms of energy that impact anyone connected to us.
One effective way to prevent negative thoughts from entering our minds is by visualising everyone as souls made of white light. To practise this, begin your day with this visualisation. First, affirm that you are a pure soul. Then, visualise all the souls you encounter throughout the day, as well as everyone else, in their light bodies. This practice helps create a positive karmic account that enhances your karma balance.
As a result, the individuals we interact with experience a surge of positivity and energy, leading to good ideas that can transform their immediate environment. Their relationships improve, and in an atmosphere filled with positive energy, they are better equipped to make sound decisions. Negative and wasteful thoughts diminish, and they learn to tap into their inner strengths, enabling them to focus on challenges and find effective solutions more easily.
In return for this practice, we benefit from improved health, wealth, and happiness. Our sanskars from the previous births are also curbed, and original sanskars are revealed. We can increase our controlling power of the mind.
Practice these affirmations early in the morning:
1. Through the dignity of my silence, I experience profound love and regard for all souls.
2. I infuse every moment of my life with a love for truth and every thought I create with a love for God.
3. At the heart of my serene nature is the knowledge that I am loving, loveful, and loved.
Om Shanti
