Recording our destiny in the Confluence Age
When someone sits in front of a camera to have their picture taken, they sit carefully, dress neatly, remain still so the photo doesn’t get spoiled, and smile so that the mood in the picture looks good. In the same way, Shiv Baba says that this present time, the most auspicious Confluence Age, is when the film of our actions for future births is being recorded and our destiny is being created. If we keep this awareness, our state of mind will not become restless. By remembering this, our mind will not be disturbed; instead, it will stay stable and peaceful. Hatha yogis and Tatva yogis say that when people sit for yoga practice, they should sit straight, keep their eyes closed, and not move their bodies. But Shiv Baba says that a Rajyogi should go beyond body-consciousness, should not let the mind waver, and should not merely close the eyes.
