The power of cheerfulness

We have established in previous blogs that tolerance and patience are commendable divine virtues. However, cheerfulness stands out as a divine virtue that not only allows an individual to experience blissful happiness but also inspires selfless service to others. This makes cheerfulness a truly serviceable virtue.

Signs of a Cheerful Person

A knowledgeable person may not articulate their wisdom, but those who encounter them can see the radiant smile on their face and recognize the joy they have cultivated through their inner remembrance. Even when the world feels chaotic, a person's heart can remain joyful. A true yogi does not exhibit signs of sadness, fatigue, or confusion; instead, they reflect constant inner joy and unity with God, similar to a blooming flower.

Being happy is a virtue that powerfully conveys a message from God, inviting everyone to embrace the treasures and knowledge of Shiv Baba. With the help of simple yoga practices, they can enhance their lives and find happiness. Just as the fragrance of perfume spreads effortlessly through the air and brings joy to those nearby, cheerful faces naturally uplift others over time. While some knowledge may need to be shared to help people cultivate other virtues, cheerfulness tends to manifest on its own.

Anyone who embodies cheerfulness naturally becomes beloved by God and others. This is because this virtue encompasses many other virtues, such as tolerance and contentment. Without these, a person cannot maintain a cheerful demeanor. Conversely, someone who constantly exhibits a gloomy expression and displays signs of tension and worry in even the smallest situations is unlikely to be favored by others or by God. Without the inner happiness that comes from knowledge and the joy of connecting with God, they may find themselves feeling upset repeatedly.

Therefore, regardless of the challenges one faces, it is crucial to remain untroubled, enthusiastic, and joyful. The habits and attitudes we cultivate now are the ones we carry with us into the future. A person who cries will bring forth the mindset of sadness, whereas someone who smiles will be welcomed into a realm of joy.

To maintain a cheerful disposition, always focus on the positives in everything and nurture a sense of purity.
