Sacrifice Through Godly Knowledge: The Key to Unlimited Attainment
When our actions are based on true Godly knowledge, the eight kinds of spiritual sacrifice become natural and easy. But if the knowledge is not truly Godly, or if there is no firm determination in that knowledge, then real sacrifice cannot happen. And where there is no sacrifice, there can be no true gain.
That is why a person must honestly check their own mind: Do I have complete faith in this Godly knowledge? If there is even a small weakness in determination, there will be weakness in sacrifice, in effort, and in the results we receive.
Therefore, at the very beginning, the foundation of determination must be made strong. When determination is firm:
- The intellect becomes broad, clear, and powerful.
- The mind becomes humble and willing.
- Sacrifice no longer feels like a burden or a loss.
In such a state, the intellect explains to the mind: this so‑called “sacrifice” is not a real loss at all. Across the ages and cycles of time, it is a method of receiving back thousands of times more. Because this sacrifice is done directly on God’s instruction and for God alone, we receive many times more from the eternal Father, the incomparable Bestower of Happiness. This is a spiritual law.
With this Godly understanding, sacrifice no longer feels like sacrifice. It feels like preparing sweets for the future—a joyful way of transferring a little now in order to receive infinitely more later. Instead of fear, pain, or a sense of heart‑break, there is lightness and happiness.
Then sacrifice feels like this: after giving away just one tiny particle, you receive an enormous return—like buying a one‑rupee ticket and winning a multi‑million‑fold lottery, like becoming a master in exchange for only a few small coins. In this way, true sacrifice through Godly knowledge becomes the key to unlimited attainment.
