In this way, just as a man’s mind is subjected to a variety of pleasures, addictions, and countless thoughts and alternatives, these too must be sacrificed. This little, precious time of Purushottam Sangam Yug that we have—if it is lost in impure thoughts and conflicting alternatives, and in constantly battling them—then when will the time come to experience unlimited happiness and the joy gained from victory over the vices? By taking these thoughts lightly, we have allowed them to become like guests who visit our mind every day—no, not just that, but like guests who come again and again in different forms, destroying our mental power and consuming all our time meant for invaluable spiritual earnings.
